Old Buckers

Pete and Andy have been flying together for 5 years and share a passion for restoring and flying vintage aircraft. The aircraft both have original Tigre engines and are liveried in the original Spanish Airforce Squadron markings.

The display is an evocative presentation of close formation manoeuvres with sights and sounds nostalgic of the 1930′s era.
GJU and GJV were both built in Spain for the Airforce in the early 1950′s with original wartime tooling and fixtures. GJV was one of the last serving Jungmanns with the Spanish Airforce being retired in the 1980′s, GJU was retired in the 1970′s and served with a Spanish Flying school until a rebuild took place in Holland in 2001. Both machines are based at Sleap Airfield.
